🧼 Washing Your Pawzee

Washing your Pawzee is perfectly fine! However, we recommend taking a gentle approach to preserve the quality and any water-resistant treatments.

Use mild detergent if any at all — often a simple rinse with lukewarm water is sufficient
Hand washing is preferred over machine washing
Avoid hot water, which can affect fabric treatments
Air dry flat — do not tumble dry or use direct heat

💧 Water-Resistant Pawzees

If you've ordered a water-resistant Pawzee, take extra care with washing. Harsh detergents can strip the water-resistant coating over time. When the coating begins to wear, simply reapply the waterproofing wax we've included.

✨ Custom Fabric Instructions

Every Pawzee is made to order, and depending on the fabric you request, you may receive special care instructions specific to your material.

When you receive your Pawzee, check the included care card for any fabric-specific guidelines. Common fabric types include:

Softshell — Water-resistant, wipe clean or gentle wash
Fleece-lined — Machine washable on gentle cycle
Waxed cotton — Spot clean only, re-wax as needed
Technical fabrics — Follow included specific instructions

🛡️ Waterproofing Maintenance

To maintain water resistance over time, periodic re-treatment may be necessary, especially after multiple washes or heavy use in wet conditions.

Your first bar of waterproofing wax comes included in the package with your Pawzee! Simply apply to clean, dry fabric and work in with a cloth or your fingers.

📦 Storage Tips

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight
Ensure your Pawzee is completely dry before storing
Avoid compressing for extended periods — hang if possible
Keep away from sharp objects that could snag the fabric
